Meet the Behavioral & Developmental Pediatrician
Dr. Joy Eberhardt, MD, FAAP
Hi, I’m Dr. Joy, and I’m so happy to offer integrative pediatric care to children and families in Minnesota.
I completed my pediatric residency in 2009 and became board-certified the same year. After four years in primary care, I realized my passion was in specialty care. In 2013, I transitioned to child maltreatment assessments at Kaiser Permanente, gaining extensive experience in medical reviews and expert testimony.
By 2018, I began moving toward developmental and behavioral specialty areas, and in 2021 I established my own practice, Orchid Pediatrics.
I’ve been engaged in integrative medical modalities since medical school and had the privilege of working with Kathi Kemper, MD, founder of pediatric integrative medicine, during my time at the American Academy of Pediatrics.
I’m fluent in Spanish and physician-certified to use it clinically. I’m also bicultural, having grown up between the U.S. and Mexico. I value diversity, equity, and inclusion, and believe partnership with families is essential to helping children thrive.
